Overview

Opus 2 is pleased to announce its new release of the Opus 2 platform. This release includes quality-of-life changes and a number of defect resolutions.

User Experience Improvements

Calendar

Export to CSV

Users can now export their Calendar entries to CSV, allowing for transfer offline to Version 8 or other applications.

Notes

Added Dialogue for Exports of Video Clips / Note Reports

Previously when exporting a Notes Report, or Video Clip file from the notes tab, there would be no on-screen messaging to the user. For larger exports - this would appear like the export has failed. Now users can monitor the export onscreen.

Workspace Admin

Export Workspace ACL Report

We have added a button to allow users to Export an XLSX version of the ACL report available under workspace admin for offline review. This may be helpful for larger workspaces with detailed ACL configuration.

System Admin

Send Password Reset via Email

System Admins can now prompt users to reset their own password from the System Admin Tab, or Workspace Admin tab (If Workspace Admin). This can be done by Selecting the User > Tools > Send Password Reset Email.



Bug Fixes

Documents

  • Export XLSX Index will now include all fields toggled in view.
  • Fixed an issue where exports of native files that began with { [ ( would fail. 
  • Fixed an issue where some documents would move to the Home Folder if deletion from trash was interrupted. 

Transcripts

  • Improved TXT Transcript handling for exports.
  • Fixed an issue where enabling Work Index would break transcript exports. 

Notes

  • Fixed an issue which would prevent designations from showing on Notes Tab. 

System Admin

  • Fixed an issue where Export of User Reports from System Admin tab did not reflect email changes. 

Integrations

  • Fixed an Issue with OpenText Integration where date field would not update. 
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes users could not export an XLSX
